Comte de Lauvia Armagnac is rich in history. During half a century, three generations of Cellar Masters have supervised the making of our eaux-de-vie. Today, Eric Durand continues this work with the same humility and pursuit of quality.

Through the grape varieties true to their origins and expertise in ageing, Lauvia creates a distinct, characterful eaux-de-vie that stand apart. Based in the heart of Bas-Armagnac, Lauvia nurtures a relationship with selected wine growers whose terroirs meet their criteria for character and quality. They exclusively distill in column stills, using the method handed down by earlier generations. The obtained style of spirit guides their choice of French oak casks for ageing.

The range is characterized by pure and floral Armagnacs, which have been rigorously preserved thanks a to respectful non-chill filtration process and color-free blends. The transparency of the labeling also indicates the exact years of the each blend, as a true symbol of integrity.

"BEHIND EVERY BARREL AND EVERY BOTTLE, IS A HUMAN-SIZED, EXPERT AND PASSIONATE TEAM."
